Tri-County Hospital offers top quality cardiac, respiratory and physical therapies to help you live your life to its fullest potential.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Department is located in the Outpatient Clinic Area and provides registered nurses to administer programs for patients recovering from heart attacks or cardiac surgeries. The department operates in conjunction with the Nebraska Heart Institute and Bryan Heart Institute, who oversee the program and provide a cardiac specialist every week to work with patients. Physical Rehabilitation

 The Physical Therapy Department works with patients on both an inpatient basis and an outpatient basis. Physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and several physical therapy aides work on a variety of issues from muscle strains, pain management or general strengthening.

Services provided through the Physical Therapy Department include neurological rehabilitation, adult urinary incontinence, orthopedics, manual therapy, sports medicine, wound/burn care and aquatic therapy. A Woman’s Health Program featuring post-mastectomy programs and pre- and post-natal education is also available.

Respiratory Therapy

 Providing treatment for disorders related to the pulmonary system and pulmonary rehabilitation services, the Respiratory Therapy Department works with patients on issues related to asthma, pneumonia and CHF. The department also works in conjunction with the Home Health Department to provide breathing treatments after patients leave Tri-County Hospital.
