The Surgery Department works with board certified general surgeons who are available to provide surgical needs on a scheduled or emergency basis. Surgeons offer laparoscopic and flexible endoscopic procedures.

- Registered nurses are present during every surgical procedure helping with patient care before, during and after surgery.
- Licensed practical nurses, certified registered nurse anesthetists and surgical technicians assist surgeons during operative procedures, while a well-qualified nursing staff provides post-operative care.
- Other surgeons holding clinics and performing surgery at Tri-County Hospital include gynecologists, urologists, ophthalmologists, and ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists, and podiatrists.
- Teamwork is essential between physicians, surgical and nursing staff to provide that level of service during a patient’s surgical stay.
