Pat Unterseher, M.D.
Dr. Unterseher grew up on a farm near Clay Center, Neb. He joined the Marines out of high school in 1968.
Education, Internships, etc.
Kearney State College for premed studies and graduated from University of Nebraska Medical School in 1978 after six years of college. Family Practice residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Board Certified Family Physician in 1981, and recertified in 1987, 1993, 2000, and 2007.
Dr. Unterseher served more than 26 years in the military, 20 years of which was active duty traveling multiple countries and actually assigned for four years in Germany, two years in Greece, two years in Alaska, 8 months in Okinawa, seven months in Vietnam, two months in the Philippines. Other travels include: China mainland and the Island of Taipei, Japan, Korea, Laos, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.
Dr. Unterseher enjoys working with people of a variety of backgrounds and is especially pleased to be able to help new immigrants to the U.S. as his family immigrated from south Russia about 100 years ago. Having grown up on a farm, he enjoys working with our hardworking, rural people here.

Married with five children who are all grown. Chris is a physician, Todd is an MBA, Molly lives and works in New York City, Sarah served in the U.S. Army and is currently back in college, and Ted is in the U.S. Army and will be done serving this fall.
Interests/Hobbies
Dr. Unterseher spends time skiing cross-country, weight lifting, reading, traveling, hiking, camping and fishing. He is also in the process of building his own plane.
